Love Island All Stars fans share heartbreaking theory about Callum and Molly amid ‘reunion’ rumours

LOVE Island fans think it really is over between Callum and Molly – despite widespread hopes they were going to get back together.

The pair dated for three years after meeting on the show first time round – and were left gobsmacked to see each other again in South Africa, just months after their split.

Since then fans have been convinced they would reconcile, but as the final approaches, their hopes have been dashed.

Many claim Molly wants Callum to make a move, but he won’t because she made it hard for him earlier in the series.

One viewer said alongside a video of the pair: “Miscommunication really be winning this war! I hate this!”

Another said: “This edit reminds me how much Callum tried in the beginning and Molly pushed him away to the point that he just gave up completely and he truly believes now that she is happy with Tom and he doesn’t want to ruin that for her.”

Someone else added: “When two people love eachother but there’s been so much hurt involved and you just want the other person to actually act like they want you.. but yal both be waiting on eachother to show you care. Sad story.”

In the fan edit, Callum is seen repeatedly asking her if she wants to talk or try to make things work – but is rebuffed every time.

Others were more pragmatic about the situation, with one fan writing: “So? He didn’t try when they were in a relationship. They are over – you lot need to get over it.”

Molly has been enjoying a budding romance with Tom Clare on the show but during the Heart Rate Challenge, they were dealt a blow.

At the end of the game, the Islanders were told Molly and Tom raised each other’s heart rates the least.

But in a shock twist Molly and Callum raised each other’s the most.

Viewers immediately rushed to social media after spotting a ‘moment’ between Molly and Callum – who is coupled up with Jess Gale – claiming they smiled at each other despite the awkward result.

Molly and Callum split in September after three and a half years together.

Their break-up came as a huge surprise to Love Island fans – especially as they lived together and even had two dogs.
