FANS of The Chase were taken aback by Bradley Walsh last night when they tuned in to the game show.
As the presenter, 63, welcomed a new batch of contestants to the studio, fans noticed his voice sounded strange.

One person queried: "Anyone else watching the Chase? Is it me or is Bradley’s voice completely different?"
Another asked: "What's happened to Bradley's voice?? Or is there something wrong with my tv??"

A third joked: "Either there's something wrong with my sound bar or Bradley has been sucking on helium balloons."
Someone else said the same, wondering: "Why does Brad sound like he's swallowed helium??"
Yet another wrote: "Bradley Walsh inhaled some helium or something?"
The former Coronation Street actor continued on with the show as normal and made no allusion to any illness.
He introduced four players to the game, with Judith kicking the team off by going head to head with chaser Paul Sinha.
She had a strong start, winning £5,000 in her cashbuilder, and was the first player to make it through to the final chase.
The journalist from Glasgow joked that if she won the game show she would use the money to buy a horse - and name it Brad.
