Monday's episode saw Rhona holed up in a holiday rental trying to get pal Vanessa to help her reach Canada with Ivy.

However, Vanessa called Rhona's husband Marlon who arrived to talk sense into his wife.

But as they were leaving to return home to the village, Gus arrived with the police and Rhona was arrested.

Despite the unfolding drama, some Emmerdale fans were more distracted by how quickly baby Ivy had aged between two episodes.

The tot was born late last year after Gus and his wife Lucy stole Rhona's frozen embryos.

Sadly, Lucy died during childbirth and Rhona had offered to help a distraught Gus care for their daughter.

Ivy should be no more than three months old, but in the latest scenes she appeared much older, holding her head up, smiling and laughing.

Taking to X - formerly Twitter - one Emmerdale fan wrote: "That baby Ivy looks awfully old for a relative newborn? Looks a bit to mobile for her age?"

Another added: "Anyone notice baby was changed last night."

A third tweeted: "WAIT. That baby is sitting up & looks about 6months old tonight. Make it make sense, for once #Emmerdale."

Emmerdale's Rhona Goskirk charged with kidnapping baby Ivy

Meanwhile a fourth wrote: "Goodness baby Ivy has grown since last night. Different baby I think."

A fellow viewer added: "This baby has changed so much in just two episodes of #Emmerdale."

During Tuesday's episode, Rhona was charged with kidnapping the tot.

But she was left devastated to learn that Gus had also been questioned over the stolen embryos, and as a consequence, Ivy had been taken into care.
