THIS Morning has been brutally snubbed at the TV Choice awards as it lost out to its daytime rival.
The ITV flagship programme has been dealt another blow as it missed out on a gong at this year's ceremony.
Stars from soaps to dramas lined the red carpet at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane in London for the glitzy event.
This Morning was beaten by BBC One's Animal Park, which is presented by Ben Fogle and Kate Humble.
It comes after a turbulent year for the show, which was rocked by the departure of two of its biggest stars.
Last May, Phillip Schofield announced he was leaving This Morning after admitting to an affair with a much-younger male colleague.
The Sun also exposed Phil, 61, and Holly Willoughby's secret three-year feud.
Holly, 43, remained on the show and hosted alongside the likes of Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary and Josie Gibson on rotation.
However, the Dancing on Ice star abruptly quit after 14 years in October following a foiled kidnap plot against her.
Last September This Morning lost out on the National Television Award for Best Daytime TV show for the first time in 13 years.
The BBC beat them with their beloved series The Repair Shop, which is fronted by Jay Blades.
Meanwhile, The Sun recently revealed how This Morning bosses are planning to secure two well-known names to take over hosting duties permantely.
Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard and American TV star Cat Deely have been offered the well sought after gig.
