Morning Live presenter reveals gruelling reality of filming show with behind-the-scenes video from BBC set
While fans admit they had ‘no idea’ how much work goes on behind the scenes
MORNING Live presenter Sara Davies took fans behind-the-scenes of the daytime show and revealed the gruelling reality of filming the programme.
The Dragon’s Den star regularly appears on the programme as a stand-in presenter.

Sara presented Morning Live at the beginning of February alongside her friend Gethin Jones, who is a regular host on the programme.
After filming, Sara, 39, shared a day-in-the-life video on social media. It took viewers behind-the-scenes at the BBC studios, revealing what the hours up to filming look like, and it’s more gruelling that fans thought.

On February 1, after presenting Morning Live, Dragon’s Den star Sara revealed the gruelling reality of her day in an Instagram video.
To kick it off, she said: “Fancy a little look behind the scenes with me on a Morning Live filming day?”

Sara continued to share clips and commentary from her morning, revealing that she has to get up to shower and wash her hair at 4am.
“I can tell you, it’s a really early start. I was up at four o’clock and then I head to the studios about five,” she said while sharing clips from her walk into work in the video.
Once in the studio, it’s straight down to business.
“Into the studio and I’m in hair and makeup around about ten past, quarter past five, which makes for a long morning,” Sara revealed.

She continued: “I’m into the team meeting around about six o’clock, which we do in Geth’s dressing room. So all the team come together and we go through the script.”
After the meeting, Sara makes a quick change into a blue DVF dress and heads to set.
“Once I was dressed, we were on set. Seven o’clock starting full rehearsals. We had a right laugh on set prepping all morning.”
“At half-past eight we do the live breakfast trail, so it means you’ve got to get camera ready, last-minute touches, team are all getting ready, and then breakfast throw live to us," she explained.

Fans were shocked at how much work goes into filming and getting ready in the morning.
“Wow! Didn’t realise you started so early,” one fan commented on the video.

Sara’s fans also flooded the comments section of her video with compliments about her outfit after she appeared on Morning Live.
She wore a blue and red floral DVF dress, which she brought in from her own wardrobe.
“Your dress is absolutely gorgeous,” one fan gushed.
“Love the dress and the colours,” said another adoring fan.
“Love the shoes,” added a third.
Sara previously presented on the show in January, appearing alongside Gethin, 46, as she filled in for Kym Marsh.
She wore a stunning dark blue denim jumpsuit for the occasion, which she paired with shiny red stilettos and glistening jewellery.
