Former EastEnders star Lorraine wrote: "S***gate in our gaff.

"Must be a bug, we're all down, Nancy's been sick too, bless her, she's such a trooper."

But Lorraine, who starred as Karen Taylor in the soap before being brutally axed last year, attempted to see the silver lining in the situation.

She's been keeping her followers up-to-date on her attempt to quit vaping and added: "Taking my mind off vaping though, so every cloud.

"10 days without vaping, three days without any nicotine patches. I'll be honest it's doable... it's testing at times but I'm doing it... I can't believe I'm doing it."

Lorraine joined EastEnders in 2017 and her character Karen quickly became a firm favourite with viewers.

Following the news she was being written out of the show, Lorraine opened up about the shock moment she received the phone call telling her that she would be axed.

The actress told The Sun: "I was sad, it was a mix of emotions, it's sad but it's exciting as now I can go and do what I want.

She then shared her concerns over her work as she told her followers that she was being "highly critical" and "struggled" with having to try out for new jobs after a long time of working on one project.

Lorraine added: "I'll get there, it's a struggle watching yourself back & not being highly critical on yourself... just let it go & send it."
