THRILLED Ant McPartlin has told TV pals he’s going to be a first-time dad at 48.
The star has long wanted kids and was thrilled to tell the Britain’s Got Talent cast that wife Anne-Marie Corbett, 46, is expecting in June.
National treasure Ant had already confided in best mate Declan Donnelly, 48.
Ant and Anne-Marie Corbett are “beyond delighted” at the news.
Anne-Marie, who has two children from a previous marriage, is understood to have had her five-month scan - prompting the happy couple to share their news following weeks of frenzied speculation.
Last night a source said: “This is the news everyone wanted. Ant and Anne- Marie are beyond delighted.

“It’s no secret that Ant has always wanted children, but that it may never happen for him was something he had, sadly, come to terms with.
“When they found out last year, they were absolutely delighted, but obviously kept the news quiet for as long as possible.
“To be having a child two years short of his 50th birthday, with the love of his life, is the stuff of dreams for Ant.
"He’s already a wonderful, doting father to Anne-Marie’s kids, and together they’re going to be brilliant parents to this latest addition to the family.”

After becoming close friends, she and Ant got together as a couple in 2018 following the star’s acrimonious marital split.
Ant has since developed a strong bond with Anne-Marie’s two teenage daughters, raising them as a family in South West London.
They also have two Maltipoos, Milo and Bumble, whom they are regularly spotted walking.
The star, who shares custody of his beloved Labrador Hurley with Lisa, has previously spoken about his desire to have children - and his heartbreaking struggles to conceive with Lisa.
Rumours have been circling for months that the couple might be expecting – but they have never been confirmed or denied
In a moving interview with the Radio Times 12 years ago, before Dec started dating now-wife Ali Astall, he said: “There’s a rumour that we do everything together and I’m holding off having kids ‘til Dec finds himself Mrs Right. I love that idea, but I’m afraid it’s not true.
“Lisa and I would love to have kids. We’re trying. It’s tougher than you think when you get a bit older.
“We’ve wanted children for a while but we’re both busy.
“So Lisa and I are trying for a baby… well, we’ve been trying for a little while so fingers crossed.”

Since the Geordies first met in 1990 on children’s drama Byker Grove, Ant and Dec have gone on to become household names.
They released two albums as PJ & Duncan, before rebranding themselves as Ant and Dec.
Their 1994 single Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble hit No9, but in 2013 a re-release saw it give the pair their first No1 hit.
The duo also went on to host SMTV Live and are now Britain’s most successful TV partnership, winning a record 45 gongs at the National Television Awards.
However Ant has also battled drink and prescription drug addictions following a botched knee operation.
He was then involved in a car crash in 2018, prompting him to check into rehab for two months.
Ant is now teetotal, and has spoken of his happiness in both his own personal and professional life.
He said of Anne-Marie: “She’s a beautiful soul. We’re very happy. I’m in the best place I’ve been in my life to be honest with you. It’s great.”
In 2017, Ant and Dec went to Buckingham Palace to receive OBEs from then-Prince Charles for services to broadcasting and entertainment.

How much is Ant McPartlin worth?
Ant's net worth is estimated to be more than £60million, and his presenting partner Dec Donnelly is thought to be worth a similar amount.
However, in 2019, he lost large sums of money to drink-drive shame which lost him £1.6million in 2018 and his divorce settlement of £31 million to ex-wife Lisa Armstrong.
In 2023, the pair signed a new three-year deal with ITV, worth in excess of £30million.
This is a long way from Byker Grove where they reportedly earned £100 a day.
