The flagship show's reporter Ben Boulos has been missing for the past number of weeks.

Ben, 39, typically presents business segments for BBC Breakfast and is known for a number of hilarious on-screen blunders.

However, fans will have to wait to a while for the next one as The Sun can reveal he's taken annual leave from the show.

The Leicestershire native has jetted off on an adventure-filled trip across the US.

Ben's expected back on screens later this month after his travels in New York, New Orleans and Washington DC.
