EASTENDERS has said goodbye to Karen Taylor - just days after she made a shock comeback.
The kidnapper - who is played by actress Lorraine Stanley in the BBC soap - returned to Walford to find out the truth of what happened to her missing son Keanu.
With Karen convinced Phil, Sharon and the other women were behind Keanu’s disappearance, she was determined to get to the truth.
But Bernie told her that Keanu had disappeared before and he would turn up again.
“In the meantime you are chasing after a son who has put you through so much,” she said.
“But your daughter, who loves you and supports you, she is right in front of you. I get it, I do, I just want you to be happy.

After dropping bombshells around Kat and Phil in order to destroy their relationship once and for all, Karen finally listened to reason and accepted the deal and ordered a cab.
“I am so proud of you,” she told daughter Bernie.
“Making a new life for yourself, standing on your own two feet. You come and see us whenever you want, yeah? Get a bit of Benidorm sun on that face.

“I know there are people here lying to me but secrets don’t stay buried for long.
“But you’re right, there’s no point in me stirring up trouble if Keanu has to stay out of sight. He’ll turn up one day.”
Karen then handed over a fistful of cash and told Bernie to buy herself something nice, she told her: “I love you Bernie.”
And then she left, with the potential of returning when her son’s body is found.
