Love Island fans convinced star has pulled out of being a bombshell at the last minute – as she’s spotted jetting home

LOVE Island fans are convinced that Catherine Agbaje was due to appear in All Stars but pulled out at the last minute.

The 2023 star added fuel to the rumours as she posted a snap of herself arriving home yesterday – without revealing which mystery location she had travelled from.

Some speculated that she had been on standby in South Africa, but producers decided she wouldn’t be need, which is something that can happen in the normal series.

Discussing Catherine’s involvement, one person wrote: “Whether they let her go or she decided she shouldn’t be there, either ways I am so happy thats the universe protecting her!”

Another fan speculated on Reddit: “Why do I feel like they had her in holding this entire time and changed their mind and didn’t bring her in? Honestly better for her.”

While someone else added: “Catherine saw Kaz was dumbed and escaped holding. WE CHEERED.”

Viewers first thought Catherine was going to do the show after they noticed she had started following a make-up artist from it.

Then she seemed to disappear on social media and fans were convinced she was set to enter with Joe Garratt.

A fan commented: “Catherine has been inactive for weeks. I’m scared they’re going to put her in this villa.”

But when Joe ended alongside twins Jess and Eve Gale – everyone was up in arms, with one commenting: “Why did y’all lie and say that catherine was coming back???”

Catherine was one of the show's most talking about contestants last summer after she brutally ditched Scott van-der-Sluis during Casa Amor.

The pair were coupled up and very happy – until she returned with Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, leaving Scott heartbroken.

Scott become the public’s favourite and fans were rooting for him to get back together with Catherine.

Although they ended up hanging out a few times after the show, Scott jetted off to America soon after to appear on Love Island USA and then The Games.
