DOWNTON Abbey and Line of Duty stars have teamed up for a new Netflix crime thriller series, which will undoubtedly have viewers gripped.
The impressive cast line-up for the new show titled Department Q has been announced by the streamer.
The upcoming series, which Downton Abbey star Matthew Goode and Line of Duty's Kelly Macdonald will be starring in, is an adaptation of Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen's books.
As with any show based on a novel, many will already know how the story unfolds, with forums and fan pages already awash with spoilers.
The new series, which is set in Edinburgh, follows Carl Morck, "a former top-rated detective assigned to a new cold case whilst wracked with guilt following an attack that left his partner paralysed and another policeman dead.”
Matthew will be fronting the show in the role of DCI Carl Morck, who is described as "brilliant but impossible".
