Jemma, 35, went on social media amid speculation about her relationship with the 27-year-old to share a post alongside a side-eye emoji.

It read: "I'm so submissive when I'm being treated properly.

"Anything you say daddy."

Now sources close to the rumoured couple have told The Sun they're spending time together.

"Mitch and Jemma met before he went on Love Island while out partying," our source said.

"They've got great chemistry and get on really well so were keen to meet up soon after he got out of the villa.

"They've been getting to know each other and are excited to see what happens.

"Neither are sure whether their connection is romantic as yet, but they're having fun exploring their feelings for each other."

Mitch was axed alongside his villa partner Liberty Poole after they were voted the least popular couple by Love Island All Stars viewers.

After returning to the UK he joined our new Love Island podcast Cracking On with The Sun to talk about his experience the second time around.

Mitch admitted feeling like he couldn't trust anyone in the villa because of a distinct lack of 'bro code'.

He said: "I got on a lot with the boys, but I don't think there's any 'bro code' at all in there, in any respect.

"In my series, obviously I did 'Messy Mitch' and stuff like that, but the boys forgave me because it was unintentional.

"I didn't enjoy the environment I was in because I didn't feel like I could trust anyone.

"Other than that, I enjoyed my experience and I'm so grateful they gave me the opportunity, but I didn't know who I could even talk to about my feelings without it getting back to like Lib or anyone like that.

"I ended up thinking 'I don't think I've got any friends here'."

Meanwhile Jemma recently opened up to The Sun about suffering a devastating ectopic pregnancy that left her terrified she was going to die.

“I was genuinely scared for my life," I said.

“Doctors told me that if the pregnancy ruptured, I could die so they wanted to take me in for emergency surgery.

"I was terrified of going for the operation and never waking up. I didn’t know what to do, and every minute was like a ticking timebomb.”
