EastEnders’ Karen Taylor makes disturbing discovery about son Keanu Taylor

EASTENDERS’ Karen Taylor has made a disturbing discovery about missing son Keanu Taylor.

The kidnapper - who is played by actress Lorraine Stanley in the BBC soap - returned to Walford in an attempt to discover the truth about what happened to her son.

Viewers know he was stabbed in the side by Linda Carter and promptly buried under the floor in the cafe by The Six.

He had tried to kill ex Sharon Watts and steal her son Albie, having discovered he isn’t his biological father.

Karen, meanwhile, had fled with tens of thousands of pounds of Phil Mitchell’s cash, having faked Albie’s kidnapping for ransom.

But this week she returned to find out where Keanu was after he failed to join her in Spain.

She was immediately met with fury from Walford residents with Phil demanding his cash back.

However Kathy Beale jumped into problem solving mode and quickly worked out a way to get rid of Karen.

She convinced Phil that he needed to let Karen go if he wanted Sharon and Albie to come back - and in return he could have the Arches from Sharon.

Kathy then convinced Karen to leave, telling her that Keanu was long gone and she was putting him in danger by remaining.

But as she shared the news of Karen’s departure with Stacey Slater, Kathy made a huge mistake.

“I think we might have done it - she’s going,” she said.

“I just gave away Sharon’s business, not that she knows that. The garage will be good for Ben and he wants Sharon and Ablie home. 

“I just wish Sharon would come back. Fancy not picking up your phone and leaving us to mop up her mess.”

“She will,” said Stacey. “You know this could all finally be over soon…”

But as they spoke neither of the women noticed Karen lurking just feet away listening intensely to every word.

Will she discover the truth about what happened to Keanu at long last?
