Holby City legend teases epic return for character with BBC soap crossover

A HOLBY City legend has teased a HUGE return for a character with a BBC soap crossover.

There's a chance we might see consultant neurosurgeon Max McGerry back on our screens.

Former Holby City star, Jo Martin who played the role has dropped a teasing hint about a possible return for her character in Casualty.

The soap star has appeared as the consultant, in both Casualty and Holby City.

Jo joined the cast of Holby City in 2019.

The actress has now hinted at the exciting prospect of reprising her role in the upcoming episodes of Casualty.

She spilled the beans on whether she would be up for making a cameo or even becoming a regular in the long-running medical drama.

"Well, the thing is, my character for Holby, she runs Casualty as well. So they better mind I don't come back. My character — because she was a CEO, and then she let that go, and she was a neurosurgeon," Jo told .

Jo explained that her character was in Casualty and Holby, but Holby was her 'main show'.

When asked if she would return, Jo said: "You never know. A few people have gone over. Jaye Griffiths, she was in Holby. She's done a stint on Casualty as her character from Holby."
