TV legend James Whale Whale shouted "I know you want to hit me"'" during a furious on-air clash with ex rail chief Steve Hedley.
The cancer-stricken 72-year-old demanded the former RMT union boss exit the studio after accusing Israel and Britain of being "terrorist states" - and refusing to condemn the attacks by Hamas.
The pair were at loggerheads on Saturday night at TalkTV HQ when a debate about train strike chaos got off topic.
James took offence to 47-year-old Steve wearing a Palestine scarf and said: "I do not want him on my show anymore."
He added: "I'm not having this, this isn't on. If you want to talk rubbish, go on the BBC."
After ranting Steve refused to leave, James took action and stormed across the studio.

He asked: "Will you go away?
"I'm an old man with cancer. Do what I ask and go."
As the argument boiled over, James added: "What are you going to do?
"I know you want to hit me. You're not, you're absolutely right, you're not."

The live TV show abruptly went to an advert break as Steve was removed from the studio.
