GOOD Morning Britain fans took aim at Richard Madeley for "interrupting" grieving Kate Garraway during her first interview since husband Derek Draper's passing.
The understandably-emotional ITV presenter was opening up on the former Labour lobbyist's funeral on Friday - held at St Mary's Church in London's Primrose Hill, the venue where the couple wed almost 20 years ago.
Kate, 56, paid a touching tribute to her late spouse at Derek's ceremony, which also featured a performance from Rocket Man singer Elton John.
Derek died on 3 January, aged 56, from complications related to long Covid.
On Monday's Good Morning Britain, mum-of-two Kate broke her silence to her co-stars and colleagues Susanna Reid, 53, and Richard Madeley, 67, during an interview from her London home.
After she opened up on her daughter Darcey, 17, who bravely helped carry the coffin as a pall bearer and her eulogy, Richard chipped in.

Kate was talking about thinking of those also facing loss today and said: "Those who will be facing the worst today I am thinking of them really, because I know how they feel."
He could be heard interjecting: "Kate I wanted ..." before she said: "Sorry I interrupted you."
Richard could then be seen waving his hands around in apology as he said: "No, I interrupted you on a live link."
Fans were quick to call out the blunder, with one writing on X: "Richard Madeley interrupting and talking over a lady describing burying her husband. Unbearable little man."

A third then joked: "Richard Madeley really is Alan Partridge."
In the emotional chat, Kate fought back tears as she revealed why she was returning back to work so soon after paying her final respects to her spouse.
Kate bravely said: "Welcome to my home, Lego and chaos and all.
"I don't know how it's going to be. Grief isn't containable in a day or year.
"People ask why I'm going back to work. Life has to start. We have to pick ourselves up and go on.
"That's what Derek would want me to do. Thank you to everyone who made it possible."
Kate is expected to rejoin co-host and best pal Ben Shephard on the show from Thursday.
Her poignant interview came after a clip showing her and Derek in a romantic dance re-surfaced online this weekend.
This Christmas, Kate kept a vigil by Derek's bedside when he was left fighting for life in hospital after suffering a heart attack.
The Smooth FM host had revealed her hopes the psychologist could spend Christmas at home before the medical emergency.
