Strictly’s Amy Dowden looks incredible as her hair grows back as she admits ‘it makes me happy’
STRICTLY Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden marked the next chapter of her cancer recovery as she revealed her hair has started to grow back.
The Welsh pro, 33 - a fan-favourite on the BBC One series - flashed a smile as she documented her "hair growth" and admitted it: "Makes me happy to see the difference."
Amy was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer last May.
Last September, we reported the heartbreaking moment she had her head shaved - documenting the experience in a truly candid Instagram video.
Now the Strictly Come Dancing stalwart - whose illness has forced her temporarily off the show - has given her loyal fans a positive update.
In a video taken while she was sitting in her car, she twirled her head around.

Amy, wearing a black jumper and camel coat, said: "Hello everyone!
"I know it's been a while hasn't it since I've spoken to you lot.
"I've got to my hospital appointment early so I thought I'd come on, you're probably thinking 'that's strange a hospital appointment on a Sunday, but I've got an MRI scan.
"I think it's so amazing the NHS offer a seven day a week appointment for MRI's - I'm really hoping this is my last MRI for a while now."
She added: "I can't believe we are into February already - I was glad to see the back of that long month January when it was a very different January than I'm used to.
"Very grateful Ben and I had a few days away and I just want to say thank you and I am really grateful for all the lovely comments that we have recieved from you guys about our trip away on Lorraine.
"Hope you have a really lovely Sunday."
In a written caption she highlighted how her brunette locks were slowly growing back and posted the words: "It's been a little while so I thought I'd show you my hair growth.
"Makes me happy to see the difference and looking back.
"It's coming."
Amy previously told how she had her head shaved to "take control" of her appearance during her illness.
Amy - who joined Strictly in 2017 - told how she wanted to "keep my identity" with her locks but woke up to the reality it was "shredding ever day."
The TV star - who has been dogged in her determination to beat the cruel disease - again uploaded the video to Instagram.
She wrote: "This too shall pass.
"Taking control - The hardest step so far. I tried my best to save it.
"I know it’s only hair but these past few months I’ve had what feels like so much taken away from me that has made me not feel like Amy.
"I’m missing every possible aspect of dancing. I just wanted to keep my identity with my hair and I tried telling myself it wouldn’t go. But I would dread the pain of waking up to the shredding everyday."
She continued: "I’ve not been able to take control of this journey so far, but as you can see with some of my loved ones I took the courage and CONTROL."
