Strictly favourite reveals nerves at ‘walking away from the biggest show in telly’ but insists ‘right time to move on’
A STRICTLY favourite has revealed it was the 'right time' to 'walk away from the biggest show in telly'.
Rylan Clark has opened up on his shock departure from the BBC One show last year.
He had presented Strictly's spin-off series It Takes Two alongside former host Zoe Ball and then Janette Manrara.
The 35-year-old's exit had stunned fans after hosting the show for four years.
But now, in an exclusive chat with The Sun's TV Mag, former Big Brother host Rylan revealed he 'doesn't regret it'.
He explained: "When you tell your team that you’re walking away from the biggest show on telly, they s**t themselves as you’d imagine.

"In my heart, when you have such a life-changing reset, if you like, I knew that I needed different things now.
"I don’t regret it because I love it, it’s so nice to walk away from a success of a show on great terms with people and know that that door is open for you to pop in and see everyone, do you know
what I mean?
"It’s actually really, really nice, but yeah, I just knew that I had to go and try new things."
