Michelle Keegan ‘set for Bond film’ after Netflix’s Fool Me Once success in US
MICHELLE Keegan could be heading for a huge new role in the next James Bond film.
The actress, 36, is odds on to be the next female star in the hit movie franchise.
It comes after Michelle's success in the US as her latest drama Fool Me Once landed on Netflix.
The former Corrie star is being backed by punters as bookmaker Coral makes Michelle Keegan odds-on at 4-5.
A spokesperson for the betting website said: “After the success of Fool Me Once, punters are backing Michelle Keegan to be the female lead in the next James Bond film.
"The former Corrie actress tops the betting ahead of Jodie Comer and Margot Robbie for the role."

Fool Me Once sees Michelle become the character of grieving Maya Stern who is coming to terms with the loss of her husband Joe.
Her other half was brutally murdered, however, Maya is left stunned when he appears on her baby monitor, seemingly back from the dead.
Meanwhile, Michelle's BBC One drama Million Pound Poms has officially been green lit for a second series.
Reprising their roles alongside Michelle are Games of Thrones's Faye Marsay, and Luther star Warren Brown.
Written and created by BAFTA award-winning Danny Brocklehurst, the first successful series followed a group of Brits in 1957 migrating to Australia after WW2 as they embarked on a life-changing experience on the other side of the pond.
The new season of Ten Pound Poms will continue to follow nurse Kate Thorne, played by Michelle, and the Roberts family, led by Faye Marsay and Warren Brown, as they strive to make a fresh start while following their dreams in their new territory.
Beeb viewers were hooked on the show, giving it an impressive 28-day figure of 7.7 million viewers.
