ITV fans have yet again stressed their disappointment at another episode of After The Flood, which left them ‘completely lost’.
Since the series kicked off last month, it has received plenty of backlash, with fans complaining about the ‘unrealistic’ plot.
ITV’s new mystery drama follows young pregnant police officer PC Joanna Marshall, played by Sophie Rundle, in the middle of a crisis after a deadly flood hits her small Yorkshire town.
Things go from bad to worse when an investigation threatening to expose the townspeople's secrets is opened.
The latest instalment, titled In Too Deep, followed PC Jo as she deep dived into her potential mind-boggling murder investigation.
As the show progressed, suspicion started to fall on the alleged sister of the victim, Tasha Eden, played by Anita Adam Gabay, while PC Jo finally began to make a breakthrough in the case.

Meanwhile, Molly Marshall played by Lorraine Ashbourne, found herself in trouble as the crime series plot thickened.
Unfortunately, as the episode seemed to reach its peak, some viewers threatened to ‘turn over’ and stop watching due to the confusing storyline.
Taking to X(Twitter), one viewer penned: “Completely lost with the plot of this, and the catch-up didn't help.”
Another added: “This #Aftertheflood is so flat & depressing! #Itv1, so trash turning over channel.”

A third wrote: “So it’s four episodes in, and I’m still thinking I might give up on this as the plot is not realistic and hasn’t gripped me at all.”
A fourth commented: “#aftertheflood. Trying to like it...but oh dear…”
ITV’s latest drama, which began on January 10 this year, received considerable criticism from viewers for its ‘really stupid’ plot.
Before After The Floor landed on screens, the Happy Valley star said in a Q&A that her character is ‘relentless’.
She added: “I think she has this kind of fixation on this case.
“Maybe it's an element of kind of trauma, though, with everything that she went through. I think it's exacerbated by this forthcoming end of her pregnancy.
The former Peaky Blinders star once told the that she was convinced that viewers would be “both gripped and moved” by the story written by BAFTA-nominated writer and actor Mick Ford.
After The Flood is on ITV1 and ITVX on Wednesday nights at 9pm.
