Dancing On Ice’s Amber Davies denies she’s landed huge new Coronation Street role after being linked to soap
DANCING On Ice star Amber Davies has denied reports that she's landed a 'leading role' in Coronation Street.
The West End performer, 27, was said to have bagged 'a main part' in the ITV1 soap after impressing show bosses.
But Amber, who found fame in the 2017 series of Love Island, has quashed claims by the that she is joining the cobbles.
Taking to Instagram, Amber told her followers: "Not family members messaging me asking am I going into Corrie after seeing this.
"I have NO IDEA where this has come from but it's absolutely false!
"After DOI I will be back on tour with my wonderful @prettywomanmusicaluk family."

Sources had insisted that Amber would be starring in Coronation Street from this summer.
The insider had told the publication: "This is like a dream come true for her, Amber can’t believe it, she is so excited."
But Amber's denial proves this will not be the case.
Amber had her sights set on a career in the arts since she was a child.
At 16, she was awarded a scholarship to train in musical theatre at the Urdang Academy in London.
She later worked as a dancer for London nightclub Cirque Le Soir and even auditioned for The X Factor, however she was unsuccessful.
In 2017, Amber won the third series of Love Island alongside her then-boyfriend Kem Cetinay.
But despite her TV success as a reality star, she returned to her acting career once she was out of the villa.
In 2019, Amber landed a leading role in the West End musical 9 To 5: The Musical. She has since performed in Bring It On: The Musical and Pretty Woman.
Last year, she took on the role as Marty McFly's mother Linda Baines in Back To The Future: The Musical, and it even led to a cameo on US reality show The Kardashians.
Amber is currently competing in this year's Dancing On Ice with professional skater Simon Proulx-Sénécal.
On Sunday, the pair performed a Barbie-inspired routine during the competition's Movie Week.

The pair earned the highest score of the series so far with an impressive 31 points out of a possible 40.
Amber will rejoin the Pretty Woman: The Musical UK and Ireland tour once her time on DOI comes to an end.
