Masked Singer fans convinced Cricket is child star turned presenter and director – and he’s already hosted a talent show
THE Masked Singer fans have been sharing their theories over who they think Cricket really is.
ITV viewers have been wowed by the green insects show-stopping performances, but now they have a new verdict about who the character's identity really is.
Flocking to online forums to share the theories, fans of the show have guessed that cricket is in fact a former child-star turned TV presenter, who even hosted singing contest, The Voice.
One wrote: "I think it’s Reggie Yates they mentioned a mouse…he voiced Rastamouse."
Another guessed: "Another post above said Reggie Yates.
"I’m not convinced it’s Reggie as he was on Celebrity Fame Academy about 20 years ago and his voice wasn’t the best but crickets voice is quite decent."

Another simply stated: "Reggie Yates."
From presenting documentaries to writing his own TV drama, Reggie is a serious screen star.
From 1998, his long-running presenting relationship with Fearne Cotton began as they both appeared in GMTV show The Disney Club and then Diggit on CITV.
In 2012 and 2013, he ditched Fearne for her Holly Willoughby, to co-host The Voice.
Reggie also wrote a one-off drama for BBC called Make Me Famous, which focused on the impact and consequences of the quick rise to fame that comes with being a reality TV star.
It comes after the green character has dropped a number of clues, leading some to think it could be boxer Anthony Joshua under the mask.
One fan pointed out the four signs it is him, revealing: “Anthony Joshua who loves cricket; his management team have ventured into professional cycling; he's pals with Dizzee Rascal; he's 6'5 and he can sing!”
The panel have been divided about his identity, and previously guessed it was Blue singer Simon Webbe.
