During the episode in which Bradley was so impressed he exclaimed "The show's over!" the ITV presenter welcomed Amy, John, Claire, and Stephen to go head-to-head with Mark 'The Beast' Labbett for a chance of walking away with an eye-watering cash prize.

Amy went first and quickly secured a place in the final, while John followed straight after and made show history.

John swiftly answered 11 questions correctly in the quickfire question round, securing a place in the final as well.

As the contestant impressively finished answering his questions, Bradley was so gobsmacked he raised his hands and proclaimed: "The show's over."

The TV star added: "I can't remember the last time that has happened."

A baffled John then asked, "What's that?" before the host fired back, "Full house, £11,000, that is spectacular."

When the episode aired, viewers were also taken aback by the iconic moment, they took to X(Twitter) and shared their views.

One user wrote at the time: "This guy John is amazing. £11,000 on his cash builder."

A second quizzed: "Could John be a new Chaser?"

Another added: "11 out of 11. What a machine, John, well played."

A fourth asked: "How long until they bring John in as the seventh chaser? #TheChase"

Bradley admitted to another show first as he decided to play alongside John during his round against The Beast

Mark made a £10 bet with Bradley, telling him he couldn't answer enough questions correctly.

The TV vet pretended to play for the £50,000 as Mark didn't believe he could do it, but things didn't go so well for Bradley.

Claire was the third player to take on the chaser, and she also impressed Bradley by answering seven questions correctly in the cash-builder round.

In the final, the three remaining players answered 20 questions correctly in two minutes.

However, in a turn of events, Mark seemed to need help with the final round, as he lost against the contestants with just four questions remaining.

The Chase fans recently branded one of the latest episodes as ‘rigged’ after they claimed that Jenny 'The Vixen’ Ryan was given 'suspiciously easy' questions.

The ITV show, which is hosted by Bradley Walsh, left fans fuming after they witnessed a contestant come close to beating The Vixen.

Unfortunately, even though he gave a brilliant performance, airline pilot Phillip, who lives in Guildford, was caught by the 41-year-old Chaser despite building an astonishing 18 steps in the final chase on his own after the rest of his team were eliminated at the Cashbuilder stage.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
