Countdown and Love Island in shock crossover as ‘brilliant’ villa star makes her Channel 4 debut

A LOVE Island star has made their debut on Countdown in a shock TV crossover.

Tasha Ghouri has joined the Channel 4 programme in guest role for this week only.

The former villa beauty, 25, stunned fans when she appeared on Countdown on Monday's show.

She's based in the famous Dictionary Corner alongside show legend Susie Dent, watching on as hopefuls go head-to-head in the letters and numbers game.

Welcoming Tasha to the show, presenter Colin Murray said: "We've a new name in Dictionary Corner today.

"Where do I start, model, fashion expert, podcaster, reality TV star, author, ambassador and a million other things - Tasha Ghouri is with us."

The Love Island star, who was beaming following the red carpet welcome, replied: "That's a really nice intro thank you."

Swooning viewers flooded Tasha with compliments, as one said: "Wow….. did I tune into countdown does cats! Tasha."

A second wrote: "Can we have Tasha all the time."

While a third posted: "Such a natural addition to the show, more of Tasha!"

Meanwhile, Rachel Riley stunned viewers as she donned a baby blue nude illusion floral dress.

The frock featured gorgeous cut-out detailing which complimented Rachel's incredible figure.

She completed the look with nude high heels and her blonde hair styled loosely around her shoulders.

Countdown airs weekdays from 2:10pm on Channel 4.
