CHANNEL 4 has axed a star-studded reality show that caused a stir with viewers after just one series.
The broadcaster has decided not to renew The Big Celebrity Detox following its first outing last year on sister station E4.
Stars including Princess Olga Romanov, Kerry Katona, Martin Roberts, Michael Jerome Reece-Page, Toby Aromolaran, David Potts and Megan Barton Hanson all took part in the show which explored unconventional treatments.
While under the roof of a specialist clinic, Princess Olga was even forced to drink her own wee on camera.
A TV insider told The Sun: "Bosses are proud of Celebrity Detox which produced jaw-dropping and disgusting telly.
"While viewers were often grossed out and left laughing at their screens, it's been decided it's best left as a one-off.

"Viewers might forget the show but for the cast they won't anytime soon."
When contacted by The Sun, a C4 spokesperson said: “Channel 4, like all broadcasters, makes decisions in the natural cycle of programming about which shows to rest, return or conclude to ensure we always innovate and offer viewers the best range of content.”
Uncomfortable scenes over the eight-episode run included Martin Roberts being subjected to spanking therapy.
The Homes Under the Hammer star, 60, also watched on in horror as a health guru drank six-month-old fermented urine.

Love Island star Toby, 25, also received his very first enema - which was a mixture of brewed, caffeinated coffee and water inserted into his colon through the rectum.
Some of the scenes were even slapped with a "don't try this at home" warning.
Netflix actress Chloe Veitch also tearfully announced she was bisexual during her time on the show.
Channel 4's money woes were laid bare this week as the broadcaster announced plans to cull 200 jobs and axe channels.
