Carol was back on the weather this week after being missing from Friday's show

It consisted of a black pencil skirt and a red top which featured a twisted neckline and a keyhole detail across her cleavage.

Janine posted the snap alongside one of Carol, 61, presenting the weather while wearing a red and navy panelled dress which hugged her curves.

Janine wrote above the two snaps: "We got the same wardrobe memo! ⁦@BBCBreakfast⁦ @BBCSpotlight @carolkirkwood."

Fans of both women were quick to comment on their coordinated outfits, with one writing: "Two Shining Lights of the BBC."

Excited to see the fan-favourite back presenting the weather bulletin, BBC Breakfast viewers flooded Carol with compliments on social media.

One said: "Good Morning Carol. You bring sunshine whatever the weather!"
