I’m an Apprentice star – I didn’t win Lord Sugar’s investment but I did bag myself a wife on the show
OVER the years, The Apprentice has seen many candidates come and go, and not all of them win Lord Alan Sugar's investment.
But despite not having luck in the boardroom, The Apprentice star Akshay Thakrar from season 16 has been lucky in love.
During his stint on the show, the businessman was fired quite early on in the process.
However, he did meet the love of his life on the hit BBC One reality show - and is now set to marry Harpreet Kaur, who actually won the show.
The savvy entrepreneur bagged Alan Sugar’s life-changing £250,000 investment for her dessert parlour business, Oh So Yum.
The pair got engaged during a very romantic rooftop proposal last May, which saw Akshay get down on one knee on a bed of roses.
