Katie Price gets close to Married At First Sight star after split with fiance Carl

KATIE Price has been growing close to a Married At First Sight star following her split from ex-fiancé Carl Woods.

The 45-year-old glamour girl announced her separation from on/off partner Carl with a defiant New Year's social media post.

Since then she has hit it off with John Joe Slater, 31, from the latest series of Mafs UK.

A source told The Sun: “They’ve met a few times and are texting each other constantly. She’s really into him - this is the first man she’s actually been interested in since Carl.”

Neither Katie or JJ’s rep had a comment when approached by The Sun.

Katie and car dealer Carl had previously been keen to start a family together, but the latter stages of their three year romance were fraught and they now appear to be over for good.

JJ's time on Mafs was packed with drama. Initially he was paired with Bianca Petronzi, but their relationship never really got off the ground.

Transgender bride Ella Morgan quickly caught JJ's eye and the pair secretly swapped messages behind Bianca's back before they were exposed at an explosive dinner party.

Ella's then groom, Nathanial Valentino, erupted at the dinner table over the hidden exchange and ultimately stormed out of the experiment.

Devastated Bianca broke down and gave JJ and Ella a piece of her mind following the betrayal.

In a shock twist, Ella and JJ then partnered up and continued in the experiment.

But they failed to find lasting love and dumped each other in an emotional vow renewal.

Speaking to the camera, Ella said: “It’s fair to say that JJ will always hold a special place in my heart.

“He’s made me see that I am good enough.”
