A LOVE Island legend has been banned from the All Stars series after appearing on rival show Ex On The Beach.
The 27-year-old shot to fame on the fifth series of the ITV2 dating show in 2019.
He was a villa favourite, having coupled up with Lucie Donlan early on in the series that was eventually won by Amber Gill.
But The Sun can exclusively reveal that Joe Garratt has been barred from taking part in All Stars.
He had hoped to return to the show that made him famous, but his recent appearance on a rival reality show has blocked his comeback.
A source told The Sun: "Joe is absolutely gutted as she was desperate to do All Stars but there was a clause in the contract with MTV that essentially stopped her from doing so.
"It would have been different if Celeb Ex On The Beach had already aired, and she was hoping it might have done by now, but as it's still to be screened, she's essentially been blocked from entering the villa.
"ITV bosses were miffed too, as they would have loved to have Joe back.
"If All Stars returns for another series next Winter, you can pretty much guarantee that, if she is single, she will be in the mix."
It comes after former show winner Paige Turley was also turned down for the same reasons.
Joe shot to fame when he appeared on Love Island alongside some of the show's most iconic Islanders.
In fact series 5, which aired over the summer of 2019, included stars like Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, and Maura Higgins.
Whilst in the villa Joe was coupled up the stunning Lucie Donlan.
Although they tried to make it work on the outside, they ended up splitting up and she is now engaged to Winter Love Island star Luke M
But Joe hasn't done too badly himself since leaving the villa, and has been linked to a string of beauties, which included Maisie Smith
He has also overhauled his look, and transformed himself into a muscle man.
Meanwhile, Joe recently revealed the reason why the Islanders like to whisper in the villa.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun he said: "So you know every year when everyone goes 'oh my god so and so is whispering a lot', 'so and so whispers'...
"I got a lot of it - 'Joe whispers a lot'.
"You whisper because you're so close to one another so you can hear what everyone is saying... unless you whisper! Or murmur a little bit and then noone can hear you.
"So it's more like a faint noise, if you're really loud they can hear it.
"You have to go to the corners of the villa basically, or get in the pool!"
