Who is Virdi Singh Mazaria from The Apprentice?

Virdi Singh Mazaria is one of the contestants to be appearing on the latest series of The Apprentice.

He is a music producer from Leicester and is using his business skills to take on Lord Alan Sugar.

After DJing world wide since the age of 18, Virdi has already had quite the successful career in the music world.

He said: "One of my most notable business achievements was having the privilege to produce a track for Sidhu Moose Wala, a prominent figure in the Punjabi music scene.

"This accomplishment is paralleled by another significant success in my career - to DJ worldwide from the age of 18.

"Today, I take pride in having showcased my DJing skills in seven countries."

However, it hasn't always been so smooth sailing, as the music producer said he ran into some trouble when Covid hit.

He said: "I’d say my biggest business fail at the time led to my biggest business success. A month before Covid, I left my job as an auditor for the big four to take my music full time.

"A month later, lockdown hit and I lost all bookings and upcoming projects.

"At the time, it was my biggest business fail. However, what I learnt was, when everything fails, how to improvise and get myself back up. Which is what I did."

What does Virdi Singh Mazaria want Lord Sugar to invest in?

Virdi want to get Lord Sugar involved in the music industry and it seems he is confident.

He said: "I believe I am deserving of Lord Sugar's investment because I bring more than just entrepreneurship to the table.

"I am a creator of unmatched experiences, a performer, my ambition is relentless setting me apart in the fast-paced world of business.

When is The Apprentice on?

The latest series of The Apprentice is set to return to our screens on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

You will be able to watch the show on BBC One of BBC iPlayer.

The series will return with 18 candidates who will  battle it out for the opportunity of a lifetime for Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment and mentorship.

Lord Sugar will, once again, be joined by his trusted advisors Baroness Karren Brady and Tim Campbell MBE.

The new series will see all new tasks taken on by the contestants who will go head to head to impress Lord Sugar.
