But the video director, 28, revealed his "easter egg" by sharing the incredible secret that he is Diane's son.

A dumbfounded Mollie screamed: "He's Diane's son? So he's Irish?"

"Speechless, head spun," Jasmine added.

She went on: "He pulled the wool over my eyes for so long. I'm so embarrassed, everyone is looking at me, thanks Ross. If you don't laugh, you'd cry."

Ross' mum Diane, 63, was finally snuffed out of the BBC show last week.

The Irish star was revealed as the traitors' victim after a chilling funeral procession led by host Claudia Winkleman.

Ross was later recruited as a traitor by original traitor Harry, and later recruit Andrew.

However, both were unaware they had signed up a player who had been harbouring a lust for revenge.

Ross nearly got his way by trying to drive a wedge between the men.

He told Harry that Andrew was plotting against him but army lad Harry, 22, hedged his bets on Andrew being loyal, and they voted to kick Ross out.

Ross' departure followed a very explosive row between former allies Jasmine and Zack at the roundtable and viewers are now convinced Jasmine will be next to go.

Last week, fans were up in arms as it was eventually revealed Diane had drunk fizzy rose from the poisoned chalice in one of the most eagerly-anticipated episodes of a TV show ever.

Despite the former schoolteacher arriving at breakfast, The Traitors host Claudia told how the murdered star would die a slow death.

She admitted the identity of the victim would be kept under wraps until a grand funeral service which many had already reckoned was fit for fan-favourite Diane.

Yet with Ross forced to watch his mum clamber into a coffin, something didn't sit right with viewers and many took to social media to complain about him having to attend his mum's funeral.

The players tonight added £3000 to the prize pot and it now stands at £68,151.
