GEORGIA Harrison has revealed the real reason she split from Sam Gowland - and why Love Island couples fake staying together.
The ITV2 show star, 29 - who has returned for a second stab at romance in the Love Island All Stars cast - candidly opened up on pal Sophie Kasaei's podcast.

Georgia confirmed her split with Sam, 28, back in 2017 as she hinted he cheated on her.
Yet now the former TOWIE star - who dubbed the sun-soaked reality TV series "the best experience of my life" - has opened up further.

Talking about Georgia's experience as a Love Island bombshell back in 2017, Sophie asked: "When you came out of Love Island did that just change your life?"

She replied: "For one I came out with Sam, we were still coupled up and it was right near the end near the final, I think that's why my followers went up so much.
"One, because I was in a good position but two, because if you leave with someone, they want to know how you are getting on.";
Hinting at why couples might stay together even if there isn't a spark, she added: "If you leave on your own and you sit at home having a biscuit, no one really cares."
Probing into Georgia's love life at the time, Sophie asked: "So what happened did you and Sam have a romance in the end?"

"Yeah a little bit after, but he weren't really for me, for me.
"I remember just getting out and me and him got our phones back and we were just refreshing it, and every time you refresh its gone up by 40,000 or 50,000."
Georgia announced the pair's split to her Instagram followers in 2017.
At the time, she wrote: "Would like to confirm that myself and Sam are no longer together.
"Unfortunately for some men one girl isn't always enough."
Meanwhile, their break-up came after Sam shared a snap of him with his arm around Big Brother star Kayleigh Morris on a night out.
He teasingly captioned it: "Love making mates @kayleighmariemorrisx".
Sam then went on to date Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry yet they - forcing him to move out of her Newcastle home.
