Strictly finalist Layton Williams reveals secret friendship with Hollywood A-lister after he accidentally ‘snubbed’ him
STRICTLY Come Dancing finalist Layton Williams has revealed his surprise friendship with a huge Hollywood A-Lister.
The Bad Education star, 29 - who missed out on Strictly's Glitterball Trophy last year with professional partner Nikita Kuzmin, 26 - has now let slip a high-profile contact in his address book.
Bury-born Layton worked with Tom Holland, 27, on the stage show of Billy Elliott and the pair are still great mates.
He told : "I actually woke up the other day to a missed FaceTime from Tom.
"I still need to call him back.
"After Strictly and some serious nights out celebrating, I went into hibernation and slept for 15 hours - and of course, that was the night he decided to call me.

"My nephew is a big fan of Spider Man so he was upset that I missed the call."
The pair previously took on the role of Billy in Billy Elliott The Musical for its 11-year run in London.
It saw Layton make his West End debut aged 12 and, in a separate interview, he told how the tale of a young lad who loves ballet had set him up for life.
He explained to website : "I do look back on the fondest memories and just think, 'where would my life be now if it wasn't for Billy?'.

"I struck gold with turning up to that one audition. If I would have walked away - which I very nearly did - where would I be? I know I was destined to do this, but it's crazy that that one audition changed my life forever, and so many other boys for that matter.
"Look at Tom Holland: every time I turn on my phone, every time a bus drives by, it's just crazy to think it's changed so many of our lives.
"This is one show called Billy Elliot and I’m so very thankful they took a chance on me."
Since his time in the shows, Tom's career has also rocketed.
Tom, 27, has scooped a BAFTA and three Saturn Awards, as well as featuring on Forbes' 30 Under 30 Europe List.
In addition to Spider-Man, he has starred in movies including Onward, Cherry and Unchartered.
Tom is also dating fellow Hollywood star Zendaya.
She was first linked to Tom, also 27, in 2016, after they were cast alongside each other in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
