On Monday night, fans of the BBC Two quiz show tuned in to watch the third-place play-off when they clocked a problem with how a Stranger Things star’s name was spelt.

As the penultimate round kicked off one team was challenged with spotting cast members from the hit Netflix show.

The quiz included the surnames of Sadie Sink, Cara Buono, Millie Bobby Brown, and Finn Wolfhard.

Viewers quickly spotted that Mike Wheeler actor Finn’s surname was spelt Wolfhart instead of Wolfhard.

Unhappy about the mistake, Only Connect fans took to X(Twitter) and expressed their thoughts about the blunder.

One viewer raged: “Absolutely incandescent about #OnlyConnect misspelling Finn Wolfhard’s name.

“Cancelling my subscription, putting my foot through the TV screen, sending them the bill, etc.”

Another followed: “So @OnlyConnectQuiz are ok with putting a clue on the board that’s spelt wrong?

“Finn WolfharD is in Stranger Things, but I don’t know of a Finn Wolfhart. #onlyconnect.”

Despite the backlash, Victoria seemed unbothered as she took to the same social media platform and shared that she wouldn’t apologise.

After the show aired, she tweeted: “Ooh, it seems we had a spelling mistake on the connecting wall last night! Wolfhard was written as Wolfhart.

“BUT I WON’T APOLOGIZE. I think it’s important to have an error in the Third Place Play-Off, like the deliberate flaw in a Persian carpet, lest God be offended.”

Fans defended the presenter in her comments section with one replying: “Nobody's perfect, Victoria. Not even a little angel like yourself. Wolfhard Schmulfard. How many really noticed?

Another followed: “Naturally, I’d assumed it was exactly that,’ while a third user hailed: “Love your sense of humour!”

Last week, the TV personality hit back at a fan who slammed and accused her of ‘robbing’ a team with an ‘unfair’ ruling.

The viewer argued that the contestants should have been allowed a point after claiming they heard their buzzer sound before the bell, signalling that time was up.
