Sarah Platt makes shock decision about gangster Damon Hay in Coronation Street
DAMON Hay returned to the cobbles earlier this year and he is determined to make things work with Sarah Platt.
Coming up in Coronation Street, the fan favourite played by Tina O'Brien makes a massive decision about her new beau.
The Underworld employee threw her marriage with Adam Barlow away after she was unable to resist her attraction to Damon Hay.
Both characters initially met in 2023, completely unaware of their respective connections to Adam.
Despite her initial aversion for him, Sarah was eventually seduced by the criminal portrayed by Ciarán Griffiths and the pair embarked on an affair.
However, this ended badly for Damon as Adam soon found out about their trysts and he was hellbent on revenge.

Damon left the ITV cobbles as Adam unleashed another thug called Niall on him - but he is finally back in Weatherfield.
In recent scenes of the Manchester-based program, a freshly single Sarah decided she had misjudged Damon and gave him another chance.
The loved-up pair have faced adversity from Sarah's family but next week, Damon admits to his other half that it's time for them to become more serious.
Damon nuzzles Sarah's neck and implies he wants to move in with her - but will she take the hint?
More importantly, will she accept him living with her young son Harry?
Last year, Sarah was ready to give birth to Damon's child after finding out she was pregnant.
At the time, however, she believed the unborn baby had been father by her husband Adam until a test revealed the shocking truth.
Despite this, Sarah was willing to keep the baby, deepening the wedge between her and Adam.
Sadly, Sarah suffered a miscarriage and her relationship with Adam went straight down the drain.
