The pair could be seen growing closer as they cosied up on a rowing boat and soaked-up the stunning landscape.

During the first date, Chris opened up to his potential flame and even commented on one of his previous relationships.

When asked by Arabella about his funny side, he admitted he is "deeply insecure" so cracks jokes to cover it up.

He also said that he once "lost his funny side" whilst in a past relationship.

More on Chris Taylor

The star suggested that he couldn't be himself whilst with his ex-partner so therefore lost his spark, however, he didn't mention who the girlfriend was.

Chris' last relationship was with fellow Love Island bombshell, Maura Higgins.

Chatting to ITV before heading into the villa, Chris admitted that he hadn't even spoken to his ex Maura since their split.

He explained: "I am really hoping that no one I have slept with is
in there, as that’s going to be uncomfortable.

"I am not sure how I would deal with my ex being in there as we haven’t spoken since we split up."

The pair went their separate ways in 2021, after just six months of dating.

It comes after Arabella and Chris were slammed by fans for putting on a steamy display whilst cuddling on the terrace.

One wrote on X: "Chris and Arabella seriously need to get a room."

Another said: "Awful behaviour from Chris and Arabella, makes me feel sick."
