Ed Bailey devastated as son Michael makes shocking accusation in Coronation Street
THE painful saga continues for a cash-strapped Ed Bailey after the builder's yard was ravaged by a huge fire.
Next week, tensions build up again at No.3 in Coronation Street as Ed's son Michael makes a huge accusation.
Money woes have been haunting Ed Bailey for several weeks after he dived back into his gambling addiction.
Ed's demons had only been mentioned in his five years in the cobbles prior to the storyline, as they were what pushed his family to find a new home in Weatherfield.
The builder portrayed by Trevor Michael Georges has, as a result, considerably endangered his family when he decided to contact a loan shark.
Things went from bad to worse during the festive season as the thug took all of the Bailey family's Christmas presents away after a huge brawl with Ed.

To top it all off, Ed has been at odds with his son Michael (Ryan Russell) who has had enough of his troublesome behaviour.
However, in recent scenes aired on ITV, Michael was trapped in a blaze as the builder's yard mysteriously caught fire while Ed was absent.
Coming up next week, Weatherfield copper Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) tries to get to the bottom of things and takes Ed in for questioning.
When Michael asks Ed if he started the fire himself, he vehemently denies it.
