Things became passionate when they got back to Nish's house

Kat is seeking a flat of her own and Nish has agreed to sort one out for her.

But in tonight's episode, things went one step further as they went out for dinner.

When Phil walked in, he accused his wife of having no self respect and being a "cheap tart after any geezer with a wallet."

Kat left the restaurant before Nish followed and consoled her as she said Phil was supposed to be her "happy ever after".

Nish invited her back to his, and they shared a drink and a knowing look on the sofa.

The action then headed elsewhere on the Square before it returned to Nish's and the sound of heavy breathing.

As the camera panned across the living room, Kat and Nish were seen stood up and kissing passionately, before they started to take each other's clothes off.

It left EastEnders viewers feeling queasy, with one writing on X: "Nish and kat, why the f***."
