Love Island’s Liberty Poole breaks down in tears – as fans turn on Demi amid Mitch row
LOVE Island star Liberty Poole has been left in floods of tears after Demi Jones dropped a bombshell about Mitch Taylor.
Liberty, 24, broke down after Demi revealed Mitch had told her she was ''his number one" before the latest recoupling.
Mitch, 27, had picked Liberty to couple up with, but this confession from her so-called pal Demi left her sobbing.
It all came to light when Liberty told Demi and their fellow island friend Kaz Kamwi she felt Mitch was giving her mixed signals.
Demi, 25, said she had kept quiet for "three" days before spilling the truth about what he'd said, because she'd 'not had a moment' to tell Liberty.
She said: "To be honest with you, before me and Luis kissed, he pulled me aside and said, 'You’re my number one, you’re my number one'...this was a few days ago now."

Liberty looked furious, as she replied: "I wish you'd told me sooner."
She added: "The thing is, I’m the wrong girl to play with because I won’t stand for that."
Liberty broke down and was unable to even get her words out.
Looking stressed, Mitch headed over to her in the garden, but Liberty told him: "I don't want to speak to you."
Fans have immediately jumped to Liberty's side, while Demi's decision to spill the "number one" beans has not gone down well.
One viewer wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Demi is not a true friend!"
Another added: "I really want to like Demi but gosh!"
A third wrote: "Am I the only one not buying this Demi nice nice girl routine... her actions have not really been matching her words!"
And someone else admitted: "I've been friends with enough girls like Demi to realise she's playing some sort of game."
Liberty refused to let the news drop and continued to talk about it in the villa.
Mitch found fame in last year's series of Love Island and his indecisiveness quickly earned him a nickname.
He is now referred to as 'Messy Mitch' among fans and even his fellow Islanders because of his tendencies to flit around between the girls.
