‘How stupid do you think we are?!’ rage Morning Live viewers after ‘shouty’ report on how to use dishwasher
BBC Morning Live fans were left fuming after a guest was brought on to the show to help demonstrate ‘how to use your dishwasher'.
Gaby Roslin, 59, and Michelle Ackerley, 39, discussed an array of topics on Monday’s episode of the magazine show.
But the stars drew anger from viewers who slammed one particular segment as 'stupid.'
After the scheduled weather report, the presenters hopped over to the kitchen area, where they spoke to consumer expert Harry Kind about ways to save money when using a dishwasher.
Gaby began: “Now we’re looking for ways to save you time and money, and today we're talking dishwashers”, to which an excited Michelle gave a fist bump and shouted, "yeah!".
The BBC star continued: "Now the reason we're laughing is because we feel very differently.
“You're going to settle an argument between us, please. Because we feel very differently”, to which Michelle quickly interjected: "We do."
She continued: "Nearly half of homes have a dishwasher, which is quite extraordinary. Some people might not be using it properly."
Harry then explained that using a washing machine correctly is "more energy efficient than washing by hand," where he then proceeded to demonstrate how a dishwasher should be used properly.
However, fans of Morning Live took to social media in anger as they railed against the consumer focussed demonstration.
One viewer asked: "@BBCMorningLive, do we really need an item about loading a dishwasher? How stupid do you think your viewers are."
"I've never had a dishwasher they use gallons of water," sarcastically said another fan.
A third watcher enquired: "Why does Harry not use the grid that comes with the cutlery basket? It keeps the cutlery separate, and you can fit an awful lot of it in the basket."
Whilst a fourth user added: "@BBCMorningLive an interesting item about dishwasher efficiency spoiled by two presenters shouting over each other and the guest. #egotrip."
This comes after Morning Live viewers were baffled after a TikTok chef showed off his cooking skills last week.
The young chef dished up a meatball pitta with salad for everyone in the studio, which he claimed cost only a fiver to make.
During his appearance with Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton, fans took to X - formerly known as Twitter - in utter bewilderment.
