Michelle Keegan breaks silence on moving to Hollywood after huge success of Netflix’s Fool Me Once
MICHELLE Keegan has broken her silence on re-locating Stateside after the huge success of her latest TV drama, Fool Me Once.
The Sun recently reported how the former Coronation Street actress was tipped for a "Hollywood blockbuster" after her latest Netflix role.
Manchester lass Michelle, 36, left fans hooked on the TV thriller, based on author Harlan Coben's gritty book of the same name.
The eight-part series followed her character Maya Stern, and kicked off with the brutal murder of her husband Joe, played by Richard Armitage.
Now she has opened up on speculation of upping sticks after it was reported the "offers had been coming in" for new work.
The Our Girl favourite told : "I went to America when Mark was out there. Didn't like it. But let's see. If a job comes up… I guess?"

Michelle was referring to her spouse's role on US TV show Extras which he took on from 2017.
Back in 2019, he told how it was "the right time to come back" to the UK.
Talking of her own potential move, the actress added: "I've never thought beyond what I'm doing right at that moment.
"And I think that's how I live now as well.
"I don't think in terms of goals. I live in the moment."
Meanwhile, according to reports, her time on the Netflix show has left many wanting to work with her.
A source said: "The response to Fool Me Once has been overwhelming.
"The phone calls and offers have been coming in from Hollywood film executives, it's different to anything Michelle has experienced before.
"Netflix is a global platform and the show has given her the opportunity to shine."
At the time, they added to : "Her career has already been a success but now her star is rising, everyone can feel that this is the beginning of something special.
"Michelle feels lucky that she's always played likeable characters but now she's hoping to take it up a notch by landing a film role.
"She aspires to play a dark character in a hard-hitting thriller, which will be a challenge that she's completely ready for."
During an appearance on The One Show, Michelle let slip how she flew a helicopter in one of the drama' gritty scenes.
She said: "There was a scene and there was me, the pilot and the cameraman behind so we had to get the shots done. We would never get the chance again.
"I remember taking off and it was a glass bottom helicopter so you literally look down and you could see the floor.
"It was awful.
"So when we got half way there the pilot just said 'do you want to take over, do you want to take control?'
"And I was like 'go on then' and I did!

"I couldn't believe it - unless he was just lying to me."
Fans have heaped high praise on the drama, claiming they were both "hooked" and "riveted" as the literary adaptation played out.
