A CORONATION Street legend has set the record straight on her rumoured exit - as she's flooded with support from co-stars.
The ITV soap has seen a number of cast members depart in recent months, including Peter Barlow star Chris Gascoyne, with his on-screen son Simon Barlow - played by Alex Bain - set to leave in the near future.
It had also been reported that Lisa George was leaving her role as Beth Tinker, but the actress has now set the record straight.
The character hasn't been a central part of any major storylines in a while, but Lisa shared a new cast card shot from the Cobbles, which seemed to suggest she would be around for the foreseeable after all.
She captioned it: "Love Beth’s new cast card shot."
A Coronation Street fan commented under the snap, which Lisa shared on her Instagram: "Lisa George aka Beth Tinker is a gorgeous lady amazing actress she was outspoken and funny. Sad that she has left Coronation Street."

Lisa's Corrie co-stars were quick to show their support too, with Paddy Bever - who plays Max Turner - sharing a heart eye emoji and Sally Carman replied: "Me too!" with heart eye emojis.
Fans were also delighted by the news, with one writing: "YOU'RE NOT LEAVING CORRIE? THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT."
Another added: "This is fabulous! I’m really hoping that some fabulous storylines are on their way for you and Kirk, two great comedic actors who are not being fully utilised by Corrie!
