Why is Love Island's Mitchel Taylor called 'Messy Mitch'?
Mitchel Taylor earned the nickname "Messy Mitch" when he appeared on Love Island season 10.
It came after he coupled up with Abi Moores, who he soon ditched for bombshell Ella Barnes.
Mitch was also known for saying different things, to different girls, behind their backs.
Because of this behaviour, fans nicknamed him "Messy Mitch".

This moniker has followed him onto Love Island All Stars.
However, before going on the spin-off show, Mitch claimed he wanted to ditch the nickname, and turn over a new leaf.
Speaking to ITV, he said: "I’ll be honest, I don’t really plan on being 'Messy Mitch'.
"It just depends on what day of the week it is. I wear my emotions on my sleeve and what you see is what you get.

"I am very honest and very opinionated and I think that’s what people like me for. If I don’t agree with something, I’m not going to hold it back."
Away from Love Island and Mitch also faced controversy weeks after he left the villa in 2023.
He was dropped by his management team after he was thrown out of a party and accused of making homophobic comments.
However, he vehemently denied using offensive language and insisted he didn't throw money at a homeless person as had also been claimed.
Who has Mitchel Taylor coupled up with in the villa?
When Mitchel entered the Love Island All stars villa, he was coupled up with Kaz Kamwi, after they were put together by the public.
However, in the first recoupling Liberty Poole then picked him.
This came just after he had tried to crack on with Demi Jones, and told her she was his "number one", despite saying the same thing to Liberty.
What happened between Liberty Poole and Mitchel Taylor?
It all kicked off in the villa when Demi dropped the bombshell about Mitch also telling her, she was his "number one".
Speaking to Liberty she said: "To be honest with you, before me and Luis kissed, he pulled me aside and said 'you’re my number one, you’re my number one'...this was a few days ago now."
Lib's best friend Kaz then said: "So, basically, Mitch is saying different things to different girls."
Hannah Elizabeth chipped in: "He's being double M, Messy Mitch."
This caused Liberty to fume: "The thing is, I’m the wrong girl to play with because I won’t stand for that."
Not one to be taken for a ride, she confronted Mitch about his shady antics and asked him if it was true, and he confirmed it was.
A blushing Mitch said: "Oh f***ing hell..."
Liberty raged: "You can p**s off babe!"; - and stormed off.
Mitch then said to Callum jones and Anton Danyluk: "I did do that. I'm finished."
