COUNTRYFILE viewers have fumed that '30 seconds is enough' of the BBC show as they tuned out minutes into watching the latest instalment.
Fans slammed the ‘woke’ episode presented by Sammi Kinghorn and Matt Baker, who visited Newport Wetlands National Nature Reserve between the Severn Estuary and the River Usk.
On Sunday, Countryfile viewers were divided as they witnessed the hosts visit one of the best sites in the country to view birdlife, including starling murmurations.
During the introduction of the episode, Matt began: "Winter is well and truly got its grip on the UK.
"It's colder, it's wetter and storms have been lashing us, but there's still plenty of reasons to enjoy this time of year."
He continued: "Wetlands National Nature Reserve is a vibrant place for both people and wildlife.

"These wetlands may look like they've always been here, but actually, this habitat was created back in 2000 and laid on the foundations of ashes from that coal-fired power station."
Sammi added: "It's now one of the best sites in the country to view bird life, and that's why we're here to see one of nature's greatest displays."
As the show kicked off, many viewers took to social media and penned down their disappointment as one said: “Stopped watching it’s got dreadful. Needs a separate programme to cover all the new inclusions.”
Another raged: "#CountryFile 30 seconds of watching is enough! Eco-warriors believing the any nonsense!"

A third added: "Another episode of Coastfile. And Doomlord #countryfile."
A fourth viewer complained: "#countryfile This is so woke now. #DefundTheBBC."
While another followed it with: "Used to enjoy the show, but now it's just a political mouthpiece. No real input about what's actually happening in the countryside."
Other fans of the BBC nature series took to X(Twitter) and defended the show with one writing: "Watching #countryfile and enjoying the views of #newportwetlands one of my favourite places to bird watch and paint."
In a separate episode where presenters Anita Rani and Matt visited Blakeney National Nature Reserve in Norfolk Countryfile, viewers blasted the BBC for blaming farmers for everything.
During the instalment, BBC Anita spoke about how breeding cows contributed to air pollution through harmful emissions.
Although the information she shared was backed up by research, the episode left some viewers angered.
Countryfile returns on Sunday at 6pm on BBC One.
