Channel 4 sex show in crisis after failing to find ANY virgins willing to romp on TV
A UK TV reality show for virgins has flopped as a seven-month search failed to find any.
Channel 4 hopes to fill a Love Island-style villa with sexually innocent Brits struggling to pop their cherries.
But an appeal has so far produced zero applicants for the show, dubbed Virgin Island.
A TV insider said: “Bosses have been looking for adults who are virgins to take part since the show was first revealed last July.
“But the application date for the series has had to be extended to allow for contributors to send off their forms.
“Producers now hope to start filming this spring but the clock is ticking.

“Bosses are baffled as to how they’re still struggling to find any virgins.”
The programme will be set in a luxury villa in the Mediterranean.
The team behind it hoped to coach a cast of beginners as they learn life-changing skills about intimacy, face their sexual fears and find confidence to do the deed.
Sexologists will guide them through their journeys - with the hope some might choose to lose their virginity on TV.
The source added: “Of course, the whole thing would be tastefully done.
“This is a bold social experiment as opposed to anything raunchy, so contributors shouldn’t feel afraid of coming forward.
“There’s a whole host of programmes that require sexual courage on TV and they don’t struggle to cast — like Naked Attraction and Open House, they even try out orgies.
“It’s a real puzzler.”
Love and relationship programming remains a major focus for broadcasters as it blooms in popularity online for the crucial age 16-34 audience.
New formats are finding huge success after hits such as Love Island and Married At First Sight.
