DAN Walker faced an on-air nightmare as his tooth fell out while broadcasting, which he claimed followed "nasty altercation."
The 46-year-old was hosting his Classic FM breakfast show when the incident occurred.
Following the alarming mishap, Dan took to Instagram to show off his missing gnasher and made light of what caused it.
He held the tooth up to the camera and captioned the post: "Actual tooth fell out on air this morning after a nasty altercation with some crunchy peanut butter."
One fan commented: "That’s the stuff of nightmares right there."
Another added: "Oh dear that can work out expensive!"

Dan rose to fame presenting BBC Breakfast for six years, before making the jump to Channel 5 News in 2022.

He also started a second job by joining Classic FM's breakfast show last week, making this his second week in the new position.
This marks his return to morning shows since leaving BBC Breakfast, while he also continues to host the news in the evening.
The presenter also starred in the nineteenth series of Strictly back in 2021 where he was paired with pro dancer Nadiya Bychkova.
The pair came fifth place on the show.
During his time on Strictly, Dan dedicated his romantic Viennese Waltz to Sarah Walker and revealed he was performing to her favourite song, She’s Always A Woman by Billy Joel.
