THE Chase presenter Bradley Walsh had to warn a contestant on the latest episode after they made a very cheeky and explicit remark on the show.
Fans of the ITV game show found the moment entertaining and were left ‘in tears’ as the family friendly show became quite naughty.
During Wednesday night's episode The Chase took a hilarious turn when London-based 29-year-old writer and performer Recee went against chaser The Sinnerman Paul Sinha.
Host Bradley welcomed the young man onto the stage and also introduced Nesta, David, and Andrea, who were tasked with teaming up and building the prize pool.
While Paul pulled out all the stops to catch the contestants, Recee stole the show and left everyone in the studio and at home crying with laughter after providing a funny answer to one of the questions.
The question he was given was: “In ceramics, what is a finial?”
The three answers given were; an ornate spout, a relief panel or a decorative knob.
Reece picked the last answer, which was decorative knobs and cheekily declared he “knew a lot about decorative knobs”.
As the audience went into uproars of laughter, he added: “I have no idea, but if I am going to go home, I’d like it to be on a decorative knob.”
Paul and Bradley tried their hardest to control their laughter, but it was clear that they could crack at any moment.
Doing his best not to laugh while attempting to hold things together, the 63-year-old pulled Reece aside for a quick chat.
The host then lowered his voice and told the contestant in a friendly manner: “Don’t come on here ruining my show.”
Reece bent over laughing, and It was clear to all that it was a funny exchange, which fans at home even found amusing.
Taking to X(Twitter), one viewer penned: “What a blinder of an answer when it mattered.”
Another added: “It’s all about decorative knobs and beavers on #TheChase tonight. Well done, Reece.
A third person commented: “Did that actually just happen I reckon she just said that, so we had Beavers, knobs, and bush in the same show.”
A fourth person teased: “'I know a lot about decorative knobs' - I'm in tears!”
Fortunately for Reece, he answered the question correctly and was a step closer to home, eventually returning to join his teammates.
Another chaser was recently left speechless after the contestants set an 'unheard of' record during a tense final chase.
Recently, Shaun 'The Dark Destroyer' Wallace responded to fans who demanded he be ‘sacked’ from the show after he made an ‘easy’ mistake.
During his recent appearance on This Morning alongside Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty, he explained: “Everyone has an Achilles heel, mine is soaps.
"I was one question away from winning a Chase episode and they asked me what colour is Marge Simpson’s hair.
“If you’ve never watched The Simpson like I’ve never watched The Simpsons, you’re not going to know.”
Anne quickly interrupted and said: “That’s not really a soap question”, while Josie and Dermot chuckled quietly amongst themselves.
Shaun then replied: “Soaps, animation, whatever. Same thing to me.
“I got such backlash from social media saying, ‘You should be sacked, you’re rubbish,’ but questions are only easy if you know the answers.”
The two chasers also discussed what it was like to work on the ITV show with hosts Josie Gibson and Dermot O’Leary.
The Chase is available to watch on ITVX.
