Nick Knowles slammed Four in A Bed, and branded it ‘not nice telly’

But the unconventional  décor and neon lighting did not go down too well with guests.

Some complained that it gave them a headache and many complained.

The episode was a rerun from the 2022 season but Channel 4 aired it again yesterday.

Nick, 61 also had a lot to say about the Channel 4 show – and he didn’t seem too impressed.

Taking to X/Twitter, the TV star penned: “Watching Four in a bed & you have to wonder why people do this to themselves – lovely pair running a genuinely quirky, beautiful guest house called The Lazy Pug & the humourless grumpy guests were truly unpleasant about it & came across deliberately mean [rolling eye emoji].”

He added: “Not nice telly at all.”

Viewers also agreed with Nick.

One wrote: “Yes Nick. I mean who goes looking in drawers for dust for goodness sake lol.”

A second added: “I can’t watch it, I mean when was the last time you went into a hotel and ran your fingers around door and picture frames for dust and completely stripped the bed down?”

A third penned: “I have a small hotel. I wouldn’t do it if it guaranteed me £1M a week.”

A fourth wrote: “The whole paying system is absurd too… Whether a room price is reasonable is compared to similar rooms in that area not if someone from an entirely different part of the country thinks it’s reasonable compared to their own b&b!!!!”

Four In A Bed airs weekdays at 11.40am and 6pm on Channel 4 and All4
