Masked Singer viewers think that Dippy Egg is legendary soap star who quit fame after spotting ‘clues’
THE Masked Singer's eagle-eyed followers think they've finally sussed the real identity of Dippy Egg.
It comes after the cheery ITV character - who has belted out tracks Daydream Believer by The Monkees and Shotgun by George Ezra - sparked huge debate.
Some The Masked Singer viewers believe Emmerdale actor Tony Audenshaw, who plays Bob Hope, is secretly showing off his vocal talent.
Yet others have switched their soap focus to EastEnders - with actor Jimi Mistry, 51, now a name in the frame.
A recent clue posted tho the show's Instagram page captured a sign stating: "Wellington boots must be worn on the farm.
"You're not on Strictly now."

The Dippy Egg, in its striped attire, can be seen bumping along the muddy path towards a series of the plastic boots.
In the comments section, one viewer gushed: "Jimi Mistry, lives on a farm with Flavia, did strictly!!!!"
Jimmy competed in Strictly's eighth series back in 2010 with Flavia Cacace, who he married in 2013.
The EastEnders actor, who played Dr Fred Fonseca, then switched acting for life on a farm.

The couple live in a converted stone barn on a seven-acre estate in Devon after Jimi gave up acting and retrained as a chef.
They even have their own to keep fans updated.
Fans now think all the clues add up to Jimi, especially as in previous clues it confessed to enjoying "birdsong at sunrise", that he "loves brekky" while also admitting that he works "nights and days".
Previously fans unmasked Dippy Egg as a hugely popular TV presenter.
Based on a series of clues, they thought former BBC Breakfast and Strictly star Dan Walker could be the character in question.
The TV star now fronts 5 News and Vanished on Channel 5 as well as the weekday breakfast show on Classic FM.
Meanwhile, others reckon the foodie face is, in fact, a BBC radio host.
They believe broadcaster Nicky Campbell is behind the mask.

One savvy fan noted: "There's a clip of Davina screaming at a reveal and I think it will be this one as they work together on Long Lost Family and she didn't know it was him.
"He was also on BBC Strictly."
