Childs, who is one of the contestants of the January 2024 series of Dragons' Den, is also a business owner and is the director of BC Boots.

The BBC Boots website explains that Instagram allows the company to show "photomatches of match worn boots" and "close up insights into the unique customisations on some pairs" for customers.
Childs' business also has a TikTok account, where over 12k users follow the brand.

When will Billy Childs appear on Dragons' Den?
Childs is scheduled to appear on the January 18 episode of Dragons' Den.
Episodes of the BBC show air on Thursday evenings at 8pm and also become available for catch up on BBC iPlayer after airing.
The 2024 series, which is the show's 21st, sees Sara Davies, Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Steven Bartlett on the panel.
Former footballer Gary Neville and Emma Grede have also joined the series as special guests.
Neville, who is also a co-owner of English Football League club Salford City, will appear on the same episode as Childs.
According to , Child decided to apply for Dragons' Den in October 2022 to raise his business' profile.
He said: "I've definitely grown as a businessman thanks to being so fortunate to appear on Dragons' Den.
"The feedback from the business tycoons really opened my eyes to a different perspective to the business and made me realise to be open about change."
